Online English Tutoring: Reading & Writing

English tutoring that starts with a clear plan. Live online lessons help students understand what they read, organize their ideas and communicate with greater clarity, led by an educator with a Master’s degree in English from New York University (NYU).

English tutoring

Focused on the skills
that move you forward.

We work with texts and writing tasks that match the learner’s current level. Lessons can focus on identifying evidence, making inferences, developing paragraphs, revising essays and applying grammar in context, all on a shared screen so students can mark up passages and drafts together with their tutor.

Common questions

How do I know which tutoring program my child needs?

Start with a conversation about schoolwork, concerns and goals. A baseline assessment, held online, helps identify current strengths and the areas where focused support may be useful.

How do online lessons work?

Lessons are live and in real time, not pre-recorded. Students meet their tutor over video, work through problems on a shared digital whiteboard, and practice between sessions with materials chosen for their plan.

Do you offer one-on-one tutoring?

Yes. One-on-one online tutoring gives individual attention focused on the learner’s needs and goals. Small online group classes are also available.

How often should my child attend tutoring?

Frequency depends on starting skills, goals, school workload and any testing timeline. We discuss an appropriate plan with you after understanding the student’s needs.

How long does it take to see improvement?

Every learner’s starting point and goals are different. Consistent instruction and practice support development over time. Progress is reviewed so instruction can be adjusted; specific grades, scores or admissions outcomes are not guaranteed.
